Job Description

We are looking for a Feed Mill Tender to oversee the operation of feed mill machinery and ensure the production of high-quality livestock feed. Your role will involve daily machinery maintenance tasks, as well as monitoring ingredient inventory and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate various feed mill equipment efficiently.
• Mix feed components following established recipes and quality checks.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machines.
• Report and troubleshoot any machinery malfunctions or issues.
• Implement safety measures and ensure team adherence.
• Work closely with team members to meet production deadlines.
• Record and track production metrics to ensure targets are met.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Foster a collaborative environment through effective communication.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate II or III in Food Processing or a related field is advantageous.

Experience

• Prior experience in feed processing or similar operations.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with ERP Software: Familiarity with software used for tracking production and inventory.
