Job Description

As an Automotive Service Writer, your role will encompass delivering top-notch customer service and efficiently managing vehicle repair requests. You'll interact with customers to capture their needs and work closely with our technicians to manage the repair process smoothly. Your organizational skills will be key in maintaining documentation and facilitating a seamless service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for customers seeking automotive services.
  • Document customer concerns accurately to facilitate repair processes.
  • Prepare and issue service quotes to customers.
  • Monitor the workflow and ensure timely completions of all customer jobs.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, services, and repairs.
  • Assist customers with service selections and recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians to relay customer needs.
  • Manage customer follow-ups and service reminders.
  • Provide support in maintaining a clean and organized service area.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge.
  • Assess customer feedback and communicate it to management.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent is essential
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in automotive customer service.
