Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Woodshop Worker responsible for operating woodworking machinery, maintaining equipment, and producing high-quality wood products. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in woodworking and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Set up woodworking equipment for production runs.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Assist in training new woodshop workers in safe practices and procedures.
  • Manage waste and ensure the workshop is kept clean and organized.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss workflows and improvement opportunities.
  • Document production outputs and report to the Production Manager.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to track supplies and materials.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Cabinet Making or Carpentry
  • Trade qualification in Woodworking or related field
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in woodworking, carpentry or cabinet making.
