Job Description

We are seeking skilled Textile Cutting Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our dynamic team in Sydney. You will be responsible for cutting bolts and other textile materials to the required size and shape while ensuring precision and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain textile cutting machines safely and efficiently.
• Follow production schedules and adjust cutting as needed.
• Inspect materials before cutting for defects or inconsistencies.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety.
• Communicate effectively with the production team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
• Relevant experience in textile manufacturing is highly regarded

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Cutting tools operation
• Metal properties understanding
• Quality control

Certifications

• Valid forklift license (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Good understanding of health and safety regulations: Knowledge of workplace safety standards is crucial.
