Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Corporate Lawyer to join our expanding team in Adelaide. You will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and compliance issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to clients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex corporate legal matters and transactions.
• Prepare legal documents including contracts and agreements.
• Conduct negotiations on behalf of clients to reach favourable outcomes.
• Participate in corporate meetings and provide legal guidance.
• Develop compliance strategies for clients in various industries.
• Coordinate with external counsel and experts as needed.
• Monitor legislative updates and advise clients accordingly.
• Engage in dispute resolution and mediation when necessary.
• Assist in the training of junior legal staff.
• Foster strong client relationships through effective communication.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent
• Master's degree in Corporate Law is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate law
