Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Histotechnician to join our dedicated team at Leading Pathology Labs. You will be responsible for preparing tissue samples, embedding them in wax blocks, and ensuring they are ready for microscopic analysis. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail and is committed to upholding the highest standards of quality in laboratory practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine histological processing of specimens.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations.
• Calibrate and maintain histology lab instruments.
• Assist in training new laboratory staff on procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance laboratory efficiency.
• Participate in laboratory quality assurance initiatives.
• Document workflow and improvements in laboratory practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or related field is an advantage
• Certification in Histotechnology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years experience in Histotechnology preferred

Technical Skills

• Immunohistochemistry techniques
• Laboratory information systems

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent
