Responsibilities

• Assemble solar panels and other photovoltaic systems.
• Cut, shape, and weld metal components for solar structures.
• Perform basic electrical wiring and connect solar panels to the power grid.
• Inspect and troubleshoot solar energy systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Help train new employees on fabrication processes and equipment.
• Maintain a neat and organized workspace to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Engineering or similar qualification

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Precision Measurement Tools
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Lean Manufacturing Principles (desirable)
• ISO 9001 Quality Management System (desirable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing Principles: Knowledge of Lean principles to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
• Experience with Metal Folding Machines: Ability to operate metal folding and rolling machines for custom fabrication.
