Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our talented team in Perth. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing security measures to protect sensitive information and manage the overall security posture of our organisation. The ideal candidate should have experience in risk assessment, threat analysis, and vulnerability management, with a strong understanding of security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Lead threat modelling sessions to identify security weaknesses.
• Ensure effective incident response processes are in place and tested.
• Implement data loss prevention strategies to protect sensitive information.
• Report on security metrics to stakeholders.
• Conduct training for technical staff on security topics.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement in security measures.
• Develop metrics for evaluating the efficacy of security operations.
• Liaise with external auditors for security assessments.
• Enhance stakeholder awareness on security risks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or relevant field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years experience in a relevant cybersecurity role
