Job Description
Join our team as a Rock Room Worker where you will be tasked with the collection, preparation, and analysis of rock samples. This position demands a high level of attention to detail and a collaborative mindset to ensure accuracy in results.
Responsibilities
Prepare samples for laboratory testing and maintain accurate records.
Monitor and operate analytical equipment during testing.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Support laboratory practices through regular cleaning and maintenance.
Participate in achieving project deadlines with the laboratory team.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and report as necessary.
Conduct ongoing research activities to improve methodologies.
Requirements
Education
Cert III in Resource Processing or equivalent
Master’s degree in Geology or Mining is an advantage
Experience
Experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred
