Stringer Machine Tender

Job Description

The Stringer Machine Tender is key in operating and maintaining stringer machines in our manufacturing environment. This role ensures that production processes run seamlessly and efficiently, contributing to the overall productivity of the team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate stringer machines for production runs.
• Load and unload materials as required.
• Troubleshoot any operational issues promptly.
• Follow up on production schedules.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals.
• Monitor inventory of materials used in production.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Identify and report equipment maintenance needs.
• Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

• CNC Machine Operation
