Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Freight Coordinator to join our Ballina team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the shipment of goods to ensure timely delivery. You will liaise with suppliers and customers, ensuring that all logistics operations run smoothly. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping activities to ensure smooth operation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with transport carriers.
• Ensure all merchandise is shipped according to specifications.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes.
• Train new staff in freight coordination best practices.
• Regularly review and update shipping procedures as required.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Freight and Shipping
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles

• Supply Chain Management

Certifications

• Certified Professional Logistician (CPL)
