As a Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver at ABC Transport, you will be responsible for driving a truck as part of a dedicated team. This role is crucial for transporting goods efficiently and safely. You should be able to follow all road regulations and maintain communication with your team to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Drive long distances to deliver goods to designated locations.
• Unload goods at delivery points as required.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules and fuel purchases.
• Ensure truck and trailer are properly maintained and defects reported.
• Comply with all company policies, laws, and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with other drivers and support staff.

Requirements

Education

• Valid and current police check
• Valid and current medical certificate

Experience

• Experience driving in different weather conditions and terrain

Technical Skills

• Ability to navigate using GPS systems
• Physical fitness
