Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to provide dedicated support to secondary school students with learning disabilities. In this role, you will develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that each student achieves their academic and social goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and adapt curriculum to accommodate the individual learning styles of students.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Engage with students to build trust and rapport, helping them feel safe to express their needs.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student performance and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Work with external agencies and therapists to provide comprehensive support to students.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in special education.
• Encourage parental involvement in the educational process.
• Develop strategies for improving students' social skills and peer interactions.
• Collaborate with other educators to integrate special education students in mainstream classes.

• Experience in educational consulting: Background in consulting for educational strategies is an advantage.
