As a Blockchain Developer in our dynamic Newcastle office, you will work on exciting projects that innovate and enhance blockchain technologies. A solid background in programming languages like Solidity and experience with platforms such as Ethereum and Hyperledger are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop smart contracts using Solidity and deploy them on Ethereum blockchain.
• Design and maintain decentralized applications (DApps) and user interfaces.
• Ensure security best practices in blockchain application development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Research and evaluate new blockchain technologies and applications.
• Participate in code reviews and optimize existing code for better performance.
• Keep up to date with new regulatory guidelines affecting blockchain technology.
• Document development processes, code changes, and guidelines.
• Participate in agile development processes including sprints and retrospectives.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for applications once deployed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in blockchain development
