Industrial Machinery Mechanic

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Industrial Machinery Mechanic to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and carrying out repairs on a variety of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess machinery performance and recommend improvements.
• Develop maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Oversee the safe use of tools and equipment in maintenance tasks.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and conduct repairs.
• Support the training and development of apprentices in the team.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Engineering - Mechanical Trade

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in industrial machine maintenance

Technical Skills

• Electrical Troubleshooting
• PLC Programming

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Confined Space Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Food Manufacturing: Experience in a food manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Safety Regulations: Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and practices.
