Job Description

As a Tool and Die Maker, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining precision measuring instruments that ensure accuracy in manufacturing processes. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of mechanical principles.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs for custom gauges and fixtures.
• Inspect and repair existing tools to maintain quality standards.
• Utilize CAD software for design tasks.
• Work alongside engineers to develop new instrument prototypes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Compile detailed reports and documentation for all instrument designs.
• Assist in training sessions for new hires.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification in Toolmaking or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in tool and die making

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Instrument calibration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
