Metal-Refining Furnace Operators and Tenders

Job Description

Join us as a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator where you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling furnace operations, ensuring the quality and efficiency of the refining process, and working closely with our production team to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust furnace temperatures to meet operational requirements.
• Keep the work area and equipment clean and well maintained.
• Load and unload materials into the furnace in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure effective operations.
• Maintain accurate supply levels and assist in inventory management.
• Identify issues in operations and support troubleshooting efforts.
• Follow strict safety guidelines to ensure personal and team safety.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Record and report all operational data as required.
• Support training and development of junior operators.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in using commercial ovens or industrial heating systems is preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Industrial Heating Systems: Experience with other furnace or oven types is a plus.
