Job Description

As a Summer Camp Counselor, you'll play a vital role in providing a fun and safe environment for campers. You will be responsible for facilitating engaging activities, supervising camper interactions, and ensuring their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and inspire campers through various outdoor adventure activities.
  • Monitor camper behavior, ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Coordinate logistics for transportation to and from off-site activities.
  • Provide first aid when necessary and ensure campers feel supported.
  • Contribute to the development of camper programs that enhance their learning and growth.
  • Actively participate in camp staff training and team-building exercises.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant certifications in Recreation Management or Child Development are a plus.
Experience
  • Prior experience in camp counseling or youth leadership roles is advantageous.
