Job Description

As a Plywood Scarfer Tender, you'll operate and monitor cutting and shaping machinery for plywood sheets, ensuring they meet strict industry standards. You will be instrumental in maintaining high-quality output and efficient production processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting machines efficiently while ensuring product quality.
• Read technical specifications to produce accurate plywood dimensions.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
• Perform quality control checks and document results.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental protocols.
• Assist in inventory management of raw materials.
• Engage in continuous improvement processes to enhance productivity.
• Provide guidance to less experienced operators.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Wood Machining
• Prior experience with wood machinery preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in woodworking or manufacturing settings.
