Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician at HealthPlus Pharmacy, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in delivering high-quality medication management and patient care. You will assist with prescription processing, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked and organized.

Responsibilities

• Process and fill prescriptions accurately while ensuring patient safety.
• Communicate with patients about medication therapy and management.
• Keep pharmacy records up to date and accurate.
• Manage recalls and expired medications and dispose of them properly.
• Assure adherence to health and safety regulations within the pharmacy.
• Assist in managing pharmacy technology and systems.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
• Foster a welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
• Relevant certifications are a plus.

Experience

• Experience with compounding medications is preferred.
