In the role of Refuse Collector Supervisor, you will lead a team of refuse collectors, ensuring timely waste collection services while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Your responsibilities will include route management, staff training, and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of refuse collectors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Create effective work schedules for refuse collection staff.
• Maintain a high level of communication with team members.
• Monitor collection routes to assure timely service delivery.
• Handle emergency situations and resolve issues as they arise.
• Lead safety training sessions and workshops for staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Communicate with local authorities as needed for compliance.
• Implement waste reduction and recycling initiatives where possible.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Environmental Science or related field

• Experience in a supervisory role is preferred
