Job Description

As an Environmental Consultant, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing environmental strategies that comply with legislation and support sustainable practices. You will assess environmental impacts, conduct site assessments, and prepare comprehensive reports, as well as work closely with clients to offer expert guidance on best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental projects from start to finish.
• Conduct impact assessments and evaluations.
• Develop comprehensive strategies for environmental compliance.
• Advise on risk management related to environmental issues.
• Conduct workshops on sustainability and compliance.
• Collaborate with teams to promote environmental awareness.
• Prepare grant proposals for environmental projects.
• Monitor trends in environmental legislation and policy.
• Support the implementation of climate action plans.
• Provide expert input on environmental impact statements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related discipline
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or program management
