Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Environmental Engineer to join our team in Launceston. In this role, you will analyze environmental data, develop sustainable practices, and work on projects that impact our natural environment positively. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and enhance sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed site assessments to identify environmental risks.
  • Create models for predicting environmental impacts from projects.
  • Collaborate with government bodies on environmental policies.
  • Lead initiatives to promote energy efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Draft environmental reports for project stakeholders.
  • Analyze waste management solutions and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in environmental education programs for local communities.
  • Formulate strategies for restoration and conservation projects.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements in environmental engineering.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in environmental assessment and project management
