Job Description

As a Water Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of water resources in Sydney. Your responsibilities will include collecting, analyzing, and interpreting water samples while implementing treatment plans to maintain compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and troubleshoot water quality issues in the field.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance and control procedures.
  • Generate data analysis reports to inform stakeholders of water quality status.
  • Coordinate with environmental agencies regarding compliance issues.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at improving water treatment efficiency.
  • Utilize GIS and statistical software for data analysis.
  • Participate in the development and refinement of testing protocols.
  • Support the preparation of funding proposals for equipment upgrades.
  • Aid in research projects focused on water quality advancements.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Environmental Science or a related field is preferred
