Job Description

The Environmental Consultant will play a pivotal role in assessing environmental impact and providing strategic guidance to clients. The ideal candidate should be deeply passionate about sustainability, with the ability to conduct site assessments, impact studies, and develop environmental management plans that comply with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the environmental impacts of proposed developments.
• Develop strategies for minimising environmental footprints.
• Conduct environmental audits and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Interface with regulatory bodies to facilitate compliance processes.
• Advise clients on waste management and resource efficiency.
• Lead workshops and training sessions on environmental awareness.
• Keep abreast of new environmental technologies and methodologies.
• Prepare grant applications and secure funding for environmental projects.
• Chair client meetings to discuss project status and future actions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or similar field
• Professional certifications in environmental management are a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in environmental consulting practices
