Environmental Engineer

Job Description

As an Environmental Engineer, you will be on the front lines of sustainable engineering, tasked with developing, implementing, and managing innovative projects that promote environmental sustainability. You'll work collaboratively with local communities and government agencies to ensure compliance with environmental legislation and address ecological challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans for environmental restoration.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors regarding sustainability efforts.
• Assess long-term ecological impacts of projects.
• Research alternative energy solutions and materials.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory approvals and permits.
• Conduct field surveys and data collection.
• Prepare grant applications for environmental projects.
• Advocate for environmental best practices in all projects.
• Provide mentorship and training for junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental engineering or related field
