We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bucker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing logs for processing and ensuring the safe and effective operation of the bucking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the implementation of safety protocols.
• Monitoring and reporting on production targets.
• Conducting regular maintenance checks on cutting machinery.
• Adhering to company policies regarding sustainable practices.
• Assisting in inventory management of logs and resources.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant industry certifications or training

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in forestry or a related field

Technical Skills

• Log Grading
• Safety Protocols

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Physical Fitness

Certifications

• Chainsaw Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with safety audits: Familiarity with conducting safety audits and inspections.
• Forklift Licence: Holding a forklift licence is considered an asset.
