Job Description

As a Nuclear Control Operator, you will be the backbone of safe and efficient operations within our nuclear power plants. Your primary role will involve monitoring and controlling nuclear power plant systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and responding swiftly to abnormalities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of all nuclear systems through rigorous monitoring.
• Utilise SCADA and computerized control systems for effective operational oversight.
• Prepare detailed reports on plant operations for management review.
• Engage in incident investigation and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate emergency response drills to ensure readiness.
• Assist with regulatory inspections and audits by authorities.
• Provide guidance to junior operators and assist in their training.
• Implement best practices for equipment upkeep and reliability.
• Support the Nuclear Control Supervisor in strategic operational planning.
• Enhance collective team performance through constructive feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or related field
• Additional technical or safety certifications

Experience

• Previous experience in a supervisory role is a plus.
