Broadband Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Broadband Technician who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing broadband internet and network systems for both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills and a strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure broadband hardware and software systems.
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of broadband issues in both residential and commercial settings.
• Document installations and maintenance in our CRM system.
• Advise clients on the best practices for network usage and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for system upgrades and improvements.
• Manage project timelines and ensure customer satisfaction at all stages.
• Educate clients on new products and services.
• Support sales team with technical expertise during installations.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project statuses and improvements.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant professional certifications in the telecommunications field are a plus.

Experience

• Experience with VoIP and wireless technologies is advantageous
