Job Description

As a Mixing and Blending Machine Setter, you will operate and maintain machines to create high-quality paint products. You will be responsible for measuring and mixing paint components, ensuring adherence to specifications, and complying with safety regulations. Our ideal candidate has a keen attention to detail and a solid background in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of paint mixing machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
• Conduct quality checks on mixed paint products.
• Document and log production activity and any discrepancies.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety protocols.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the operations team.
• Work closely with the Quality Control department to ensure standards are met.
• Adapt to changes in production schedules as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in automated paint mixing systems is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Experience with automated systems
• Knowledge of quality control processes

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Forklift License
• First Aid Certification

Advantageous

• Experience in batch record reviews: Familiarity with reviewing production logs and identifying deviations.
