We are seeking a proficient Computer Network Architect to provide expert advice, design, implementation, and support services for our clients' network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of network systems, identifying and resolving issues, and providing proactive recommendations to enhance network performance and security.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex network systems tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct assessments of existing network infrastructures to identify improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with networking best practices and security standards.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for network systems.
  • Work closely with vendors to evaluate and deploy network hardware and software.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients post-implementation.
  • Manage and mentor junior network engineers.
  • Document all network configurations and changes for compliance purposes.
  • Evaluate new technologies for potential incorporation into network design.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades with minimal disruption to services.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Relevant vendor-specific certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus
  • Networking Protocols Strong knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF.
  • Network Security Proficient in implementing security measures for robust network integrity.
  • Cisco Technologies Extensive experience with Cisco networking technologies and configurations.
  • Cloud Services Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure) for networking.
  • Firewall Management Skilled in configuring and managing firewall solutions.
  • VoIP Technologies Knowledgeable in VoIP infrastructure and deployment.
  • Network Monitoring Tools Proficient in using network monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Nagios.
  • Virtualization Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Analytical Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication Skills Excellent communication skills for client interactions and documentation.
  • Team Collaboration Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to Detail Meticulous attention to detail in configurations and documentation.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Fortinet Certified Network Security Expert (FCNSE)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Familiarity with Network Automation Tools: Experience with tools like Ansible or Puppet for automating network tasks.
  • Understanding of SDN Principles: Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) principles and applications.
