As a Cable Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of cables, including fiber optic and network cables. This position requires hands-on skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues. We're looking for someone who is versatile, can work independently as well as part of a team, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair various cable systems for telecommunications.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues that arise during installations.
• Monitor equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Interact with clients and provide clear explanations regarding service and repairs.
• Prepare reports on service activities and maintain accurate logs.
• Assist in training new technicians and provide mentorship.
• Implement best practices for safety and efficiency in all work operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in telecommunications installation

Technical Skills

• Fiber Optic Installation
• Cable Testing Equipment

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with fiber optic cables: Proficient handling of fiber optics technology is a plus.
• Experience with voice and data network installations: Background in voice and data networks is beneficial.
