Structural Draftsman

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Structural Draftsman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings and blueprints for construction projects, including buildings, bridges, and other structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update CAD drawings for a variety of structural projects.
• Liaise with project stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure designs are practical and meet site constraints.
• Assist in the preparation of tenders and bidding documents.
• Document changes to the design and maintain updates in project files.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform any additional related tasks as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in structural drafting and design

Technical Skills

• 3D Modelling Software
• Project Management Software

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Relevant Building Codes and Regulations: In-depth knowledge of local code requirements for construction.
