Chief Sustainability Officer

Job Description

As the Chief Sustainability Officer, you will lead the charge in implementing and overseeing the organisation's sustainability strategy. You will be instrumental in reducing our carbon footprint, driving initiatives for renewable energy, and fostering environmentally responsible practices across all levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organisation's sustainability reporting and benchmarks.
• Implement strategies to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on sustainability issues.
• Develop partnerships with external organisations to advance sustainability goals.
• Manage relationships with government agencies, regulators, and community stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of sustainability within the organisation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
• Post-graduate qualification in sustainability or related fields preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in a sustainability role with proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies.
