Job Description

As a Subassembler, you will play a crucial role in the production line, assembling various components using hand tools and machinery. Transport yourself into an engaging manufacturing environment where attention to detail and quality assurance are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Utilise various hand tools for assembling electronic components.
• Follow specified procedures for assembly operations.
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions.
• Engage in problem-solving when assembly tasks present challenges.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Help maintain inventory of materials used for assembly.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or engineering role

Languages

Advantageous

• Experience with quality control and assurance: Familiarity with quality management systems and practices.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies: Understanding of continuous improvement practices.
