Job Description

Join us as a Juvenile Officer where you will work directly with at-risk youth and their families. Your efforts will focus on promoting rehabilitation, delivering support, and liaising with courts and social services to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis intervention as needed to young people and their families.
  • Stay updated on trends and best practices in juvenile justice and social work.
  • Foster a supportive network by integrating youth with community resources.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements regarding youth protection.
  • Measure program outcomes and suggest improvements for effectiveness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology is preferred
Experience
  • Experience working with young people and/or in the justice system is an advantage
