Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient operation of planing machines.
• Adjust cutting edges and settings to achieve specified dimensions.
• Monitor production processes to meet quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance on planing machines.
• Report any malfunctions or defects in machinery.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Timber Processing or equivalent.
• Further qualifications in a related field are advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Advantageous

• Experience with large-scale production machinery: Strong background in operating and maintaining high-capacity planing machines.
