Job Description

As a Volunteer Firefighter, you will be responsible for responding to fire emergencies, providing first aid, and educating the community about fire safety. Your role is pivotal in protecting lives and property within your local area.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and effectively manage fire suppression.
• Conduct safety checks and risk assessments at community events.
• Engage in physical training to maintain fitness and readiness.

• Maintain accurate records of training and emergency calls.
• Work collaboratively with fellow fire service volunteers and professionals.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives regarding fire safety.

• Contribute towards maintaining the fire station and community facilities.

Requirements

Education

• Basic firefighting training completion or willingness to undertake training

Experience

• Previous experience in emergency services is advantageous.
