Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Launching Pad Mechanic who will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of launching pads for rockets and satellites. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and mechanical background, alongside knowledge of industry-specific tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test launching pad systems to ensure proper function.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to enhance performance of launching pads.
  • Utilize technical manuals to read and interpret schematics.
  • Manage parts inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops.
  • Support the launch team during pre-launch and launch operations.
  • Document and report all findings and repairs for future reference.
  • Work under pressure to meet demanding launch schedules.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance safety and efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace or related industry
