We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Geelong. The successful candidate will contribute to exciting infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. You will be involved in the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering tasks, making a tangible impact in the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects from concept through to completion.
• Ensure that projects meet environmental and safety regulations.
• Utilise AutoCAD and other engineering software for design work.
• Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with local authorities for permits and project approvals.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers in the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is an asset

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in civil engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Civil Engineering Design Software
• GIS Software

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (RPE)
• Environmental Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in 3D Modelling Software: Experience using software like Revit or SketchUp for 3D modelling.
• Knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessments: Ability to conduct assessments for project environmental impacts.
