Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our firm in Maroondah. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in accounting practices, with a focus on tax, audit, and bookkeeping. You will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and optimise accounting processes for efficiency.
• Provide insights and forecasts based on financial data.
• Conduct variance analysis for budgets and forecasts.
• Liaise with external partners on financial matters.
• Support financial reporting and analysis initiatives.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly financial analysis.
• Lead financial projects and ensure compliance with policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel Skills
• Budgeting and Forecasting

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
