We are on the lookout for a dedicated Milk Pickup Driver to join our logistics team. Your primary responsibility will be the timely collection and transportation of milk from various farms directly to our processing facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that we maintain our high-quality standards and meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely collection and delivery of milk.
• Monitor and report any deviations from scheduled routes.
• Handle milk containers with care to avoid spills and contamination.
• Adhere to hygiene standards during milk transportation.
• Communicate effectively with farm staff and logistical coordinators.
• Assist with inventory tracking as required.
• Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
• Document and report any accidents or incidents immediately.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Australian driver's license (Heavy Rigid or higher)
• First Aid certification (preferred)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar driving role
