Body Welder

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Body Welder where you will be responsible for welding and joining metal parts to create durable automotive body frames. You will collaborate closely with designers and engineers to ensure the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of welding jobs to maintain quality control.
• Work closely with engineering teams to resolve any technical issues during the fabrication process.
• Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment to minimize downtime.
• Document all work processes and changes for compliance and tracking.
• Assist in the training of apprentices and new team members.
• Utilize welding software to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Evaluate welding materials and advise on best practices.
• Participate in safety drills and workshops to promote a safe working environment.
• Contribute to process improvements and recommendations for tooling and equipment.
• Ensure all tasks are completed within budget constraints.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant welding certifications

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in automotive welding.

Languages

• English: Fluent
