Responsibilities
Perform regular inspections and maintenance on aircraft launching and arresting systems.
Conduct comprehensive safety checks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Prepare detailed reports on system performance and identify any issues.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior technicians.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
Monitor system upgrades and improvements alongside the engineering team.
Implement effective solutions for identified deficiencies in systems.
Requirements
Education
Diploma or equivalent in mechanical engineering or aviation maintenance
Certification in aircraft maintenance or equivalent work experience
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience with aircraft launching and arresting systems.
