Job Description
The Cocoa Roaster will be responsible for roasting cocoa beans to perfection for various chocolate products. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in roasting and a passion for quality chocolate-making.
Responsibilities
Operate and adjust roasting equipment to enhance chocolate flavour.
Document roasting parameters and outcomes for quality assurance.
Assist in training junior staff on roasting techniques.
Engage in quality control processes to maintain bean standards.
Stay updated on industry trends regarding cocoa roasting.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Certifications in Food Safety or Quality Control are a plus
Experience
Experience in the chocolate industry is a significant plus.
