Job Description

The Cocoa Roaster will be responsible for roasting cocoa beans to perfection for various chocolate products. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in roasting and a passion for quality chocolate-making.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and adjust roasting equipment to enhance chocolate flavour.
  • Document roasting parameters and outcomes for quality assurance.
  • Assist in training junior staff on roasting techniques.
  • Engage in quality control processes to maintain bean standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends regarding cocoa roasting.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certifications in Food Safety or Quality Control are a plus
Experience
  • Experience in the chocolate industry is a significant plus.
