Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lime Plant Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will have experience operating machinery involved in the production of lime products, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate blending equipment for lime production
• Ensure that all safety and operational procedures are followed
• Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold product quality
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs as necessary

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Lime Plant Operations or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience working as a Lime Plant Operator or in a similar role is highly desired

Technical Skills

• Experience operating heavy machinery
• Mechanical aptitude

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Advantageous

• Experience in operating lime kilns: Knowledge of kiln operation and maintenance.
• Forklift operation certification: Certified to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
