Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Ballarat. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Utilise CAD software for design and modelling.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors.
• Review and assess engineering designs for functionality and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical support during product development and manufacturing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Project Management Software

• Leadership

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
