Job Description

As an Ophthalmic Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating custom-made artificial glass eyes for patients who have lost their natural eyes. You will collaborate closely with patients, doctors, and ocular prosthetists to ensure that each glass eye meets the unique needs and preferences of the individual. Your artistic skills and attention to detail are essential in crafting realistic and comfortable artificial eyes. Responsibilities

  • Develop artistic techniques for creating realistic glass eyes.
  • Review and analyze patient feedback to improve product quality.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or a related field
Experience
  • 3+ years in ocular prosthetics or similar experience
Technical Skills
