Job Description

As a Document Photographer, you will play a crucial role in capturing high-quality images of legal, financial, and historical documents. You will work closely with clients to understand their specific imaging needs, ensuring they receive the best possible results. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and possess strong technical skills in photography.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality digital images of documents using specialized equipment.
• Work with archival teams to catalogue and label images for easy retrieval.
• Provide images for restoration purposes by collaborating with restoration teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain and clean equipment to ensure optimum performance.
• Manage multiple imaging projects simultaneously and meet essential deadlines.
• Conduct research to enhance understanding of historical significance in documentation.
• Assist in creating workflow processes for efficient document handling and imaging.
• Develop technical solutions to improve imaging processes.
• Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights and ideas for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Tertiary qualification in Photography or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in document photography

Languages

• English: Fluent
