General Pediatrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General Pediatrician to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will diagnose and treat a range of health issues affecting children from infants to adolescents, providing essential preventive care and health education to families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical evaluations and physical examinations on young patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain effective communication with children and their families.
• Monitor and track patients' health progress over time.
• Facilitate referrals to specialists as needed.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for children and families.
• Educate families about disease prevention and healthy living.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Participate in patient care committees and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide emergency care as required.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent
• Specialization in Pediatrics from an accredited institution

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a pediatric role

• Current AHPRA Registration
